It’s not because my boss is driving me crazy - though he’s always a likely culprit - and it’s not just because the writer’s block I’ve been trying to shake all month still hasn’t lifted. Those things are annoying, but they don’t have quite the same day-ruining effect…

Excuse me? I completely understand how it hurts to be treated like a second class citizen, but I also understand what it’s like to be treated like a second class gay - because that’s what lesbians are to the world and on Glee.
Are Klaine treated equally to straight couples on Glee? No. And that’s bullcrap and it’s hurtful and it’s simply unjust.
But do not - I repeat - do not ever come forward and say that lesbians have it in any capacity easier than gays; that our wars are won; that we don’t face the same old prejudice we did back in 1993 when that one episode of Picket Fences aired, which featured a girl on girl kiss and, of course, it was a rating stunt.
Yes, we had that two second kiss and I absolutely see how important that it. But it is especially important, considering we had to wait three fucking years for a first kiss. We didn’t get a storyline- unlike Kurt. We were simply told that Santana came out to her parents and then there was Finn telling Santana she’s a coward for staying in the closet, then blackmailing her, then introducing her to the concept of suicide while refering to this one time they had straight sex together. We had to sit through I Kissed A Girl. We were beaten down so often and just like in real life we were constantly told that we don’t have a reason to be upset. We don’t have a right to exist. Because Santana is not really gay, because she slept with Puck and Finn. And Brittany is not really gay or bisexual, she’s just overly sexual. This week was the first time Santana said out loud that she’s gay. Brittany up until now has not declared her sexuality. And yes, for women that’s called progressive. Because apparently we’re all sexually fluid. Labels are for men.
We had a sex tape that they put in the promo and whilst Chris Colfer got an Emmy for his acting Naya Rivera gets awards for being hot.
Yes, Klaine kisses matter. But I believe you can say that without shitting on us lesbians like the average condescening gay guy. And yes, sorry, to break it to you, but sexism within the gay community is very much alive and it doesn’t work to women’s advantage.
